Upper Providence receives protective vests for their police department.

  1. That's a long list of police departments with Media Borough missing but the question is why ? We have a full time grant writer ?
Did a respreserstive from Media Borough apply for the Vest-a-cop program
Seems odd odd Media Borough has many resources at there disposal and have had confrontations with armed perpetrators
Yet not one was received by Media Borough
Does Media Borogh already deploy these vests to the 15-20 police officers both full and part time ?

    1. Not surprising the way this borough is run. It's probably news to them too!

    2. Who directs what grants are applied for ? How much does the borough grant writer make in salary ? Why can't the Borough grant writers crafty skills be repurposed for a new modality of applying for programs like VEST-A-COP or is he or she too busy getting the grant money for the pocket park that only a select group of people wanted !

    3. Anon 9-19-17 are you a R,D,I, L,G,C or et al. Seems that no matter your polictial leanings in this town you get the same poor response to anything that is asked about. These people that work in the borough offices are paid by our tax dollars yet gave no accountablility to residents. They can't even return a phone call

  2. Vests should go to police dogs instead of loser UP cops.
